TJ Algo Toolkit — indicator guide
TJ ORB
Locks the high and low of the session opening you choose, then follows what price does with that range through four states. Ranges too small to trade are labelled and ignored rather than drawn.
How it works
During the session window the high and low keep updating. When the window closes the range is fixed and the levels are drawn forward.
If the finished range is smaller than your ATR threshold the state reads TOO SMALL and no levels are drawn for that day.
FORMING while the window is open, INSIDE once it closes, BROKEN UP or BROKEN DOWN on the first close beyond a level, and RETEST HELD when price returns to that level and holds it.
Projections at one and two times the range height in the direction of the break.

Alerts
| Alert | Fires when |
|---|---|
| Breakout up | First close above the opening range high. |
| Breakout down | First close below the opening range low. |
| Retest | Price returns to the broken level and closes on the breakout side. |
| Target 1 / 2 | Price reaches a projected target. |
Every alert can carry a JSON payload with the symbol, both timeframes, the structure on each, and whether they agree — so a bot can filter on confluence before it forwards anything.
Reading the dashboard
- Session repeats the window and timezone so you always know which open you are watching.
- State carries the higher timeframe structure after the divider, with = when the break agrees with it.
- Targets shows both projections once a direction is established.
