TJ Algo Toolkit — indicator guide
TJ Volume Profile Pro
A real volume profile, not an approximation. Each candle's volume is spread across every price row its range covered, which is what lets the profile show where the market actually traded rather than where it merely passed.
How it works
The lookback range is split into rows. Every candle in the window donates its volume, divided evenly across the rows it spanned.
The row that collected the most volume. This is the equilibrium price, the level the market keeps returning to while the profile holds.
Starting at the point of control, the profile expands to whichever neighbouring row holds more volume until it covers your percentage of the total.
The same engine runs over a proportionally longer window to produce the higher timeframe point of control, drawn as a dashed line.

Alerts
| Alert | Fires when |
|---|---|
| POC tap | Price trades through the point of control. |
| Value area entry | Price closes back inside the value area. |
| Value area exit | Price closes outside the value area, with the side named. |
Every alert can carry a JSON payload with the symbol, both timeframes, the structure on each, and whether they agree — so a bot can filter on confluence before it forwards anything.
Reading the dashboard
- Price tells you where you stand: inside the value area, above it, or below it.
- A +HTF marker next to the POC means both timeframes agree on the equilibrium price.
- Value area is written low to high, so the two numbers are VAL and VAH.
